This pic through my rear view mirror shows the beach after a high tide of rough water. This was taken at Daytona Beach where one can drive on the sand. It’s amazing!

When you get to see a picture like this, it deserves to be shot. These guys really know how to party. Notice that they give each other room to move, but yet are very content to be all together…much like we do in our independent living facility. It is great to have people all around us, but we have our own space…a beautiful big apartment.

Took this pic in AZ and love the flower on the spiny cactus. It reminds us that life can be both beautiful and full of thorns. We have to take the bad with the good and hope for better days. Even when you’re seventy, you’ll have beautiful memories to live on…

The day we ventured over to the Grand Canyon, it was mostly cloudy. The sun came out for a short time, so I captured one photo with some light in it.

Picture of the rocks in AZ. Loved our visit to see the Grand Canyon, but also the beautiful city of Sedona. If you travel, these are a must see.

Lexie to left, my knee and lap, Missy to the right. We sleep, eat, and sit together like this. The only change…they switch places whenever one of them has to go to the bathroom…They need equal time with “Mommy”…haha

Shot of one of our lakes at the Isles of Vero Beach. Winter is beautiful in Vero. Temp today is 77 degrees with a light breeze…perfect!

Here I am in Daytona Beach with my sister. It was a great New Year’s Eve of 2014, but it was also my 70th birthday! How I got this old is a puzzle to me, but I’m going to tell you all about the fun, fantasy, and frenzy of my 70th year on Earth. Stand by.
